The Statehouse

Well this is long overdue. It has been a week since I went with the young architects forum to lobby for green building codes at the statehouse. I have just been so busy I haven't had anytime to blog. Anyway, It was really interesting. We called our individual representatives out of the senate just before session and told them how we felt about this issue that was coming up, and I also got a plug in there saying that I wanted to defeat the anti-smoking bill that's coming up. He said he was totally on board with that so we'll have to see. It was really fun to not only see up close how "the process" works but also get to directly inform it. So, fun and educational I would like to do it again sometime.
