Busy Weekend

I’m running out of ways to start these posts. Something catchy . . . like damn that hurts. Makes you wanna read more, no? Anywho lets see this week was: Fri. didn’t really do anything just watched TV and hung around the house. Sat. we were supposed to go shopping but instead went to help with Joel and Mother’s video project. Which was fun, we should get together and make a crappy movie sometime. Thoughts? Then Sat. night we went to see “When you coming back red ryder?” which was INTENSE. Did not know what the play was about going in which is usually a lot of fun but I think in this instance knowledge ahead of time would have been good. However it was superbly acted and we really enjoyed the theater it was at. We’ll have to go there again. Hopefully to see the outsiders. Another one that requires before hand knowledge but luckily with that I’ve read the book. Sun. was Paintball, and shopping. The worst injury I got during paintball was the pretty bad sunburn on my arms and neck. I could probably cook something with the heat still radiating off my arms. So It was a lot of fun but I don’t think I’m going to go play with them again. Although I was told several times that we had permission to play there they still seamed worried about cops showing up and telling us to leave. So Until they get written permission or land owned entirely by one of the members, I don’t think I’m going to be playing with them. Its kind of a shame because they very openly shared there paint, CO2, and extra guns with both me and each other. Anyway It was half woods and Half field. I liked the woods fighting a lot better because the field had a ton of thin brush which provided surprising cover but in a way that if you let loose a hundred paintballs you would get through so it mostly ended up being a giant waste of paint. There were some good moments though, when I stood up for a better shot and got lit the fuck up by like seven guys, or at the end of the day on borrowed paint and CO2 I shot a guy from like 80-100 feet away with like 2 or 3 out of a total 5 shots fired at him. Incidentally 100 ft is pretty much the outside of your shot being reasonably accurate. One of the first times I got out, there were four paintballs in the air before I knew what was going on. However time momentarily stopped as I spotted all four in the air and coming at me. I got a lot of experience on firing my gun faster which is invaluable. I also got maybe 5-10 guys out across the day probably more like 5 which now that I say it sounds kind of pathetic but really I was happy with how I did, being a lone wolf noob. Anyway Sorry this post is so long. Toodles,
