I'm was so busy this weekend I felt like a friggen preposition.
Hello everybody. Apparently Joel has been hiding in the back of the room this whole time and I didn’t know it. So hi Joel welcome to the list of people I am aware of that read my blog. So I have two posts for this weekend with one dedicated solely to paintball since A: there are soo many stories from that and B: there was sooo much other shit that happened this weekend. Fri night we went over to Jesse and Doug’s for a bonfire and a little fire. Fun times, good conversation. Also Jesse not gonna lie me and Tiffany were previously scared about coming down there. Seeing the neighborhood in the light did a lot to dispel those fears. Sat PAINTBAAAAALLL. Fantastic, Just Fantastic time. I was a little worried about there being enough people to play with (I know preposition without a phrase), but there were maybe 50 guys there (no girls), which incidently was exactly enough people to take up all the fields without making people wait. Then Sat. night we went shopping and were going to finish off with a movie but saved that for Sunday since we decided against the oh so awesome, but oh so expensive, Broad Ripple Art Fair. So Sunday afternoon we went to see Robin Hood which I didn’t care for mostly because I was expecting something different, not to mention a few classic Robin Hood plot changes. The battle scenes were awesome though even if there were a few instances were the troops were clearly set up for filming and not war. Also no one should ever stop and kiss in the middle of a battle field. All in all those were for the most part accurate except notably A: the pikes were in no way used appropriately, B: idk that the way they burned the gate was an actually method or just made up for the movie, and C: the battles were way too small maybe 100 - 200 per side, which I’m not saying never happened but the “whole” of England riding to stave off the French invasion seems like a much bigger battle than that. After the movie we went to mother and fathers for a little Pictionary / Wii Game night, I personally enjoyed the Wii better but I thought the Pictionary was fun also even if other people thought I didn’t enjoy it. Seriously considering I had Alamo I was proud of what I came up with for that. Also there was catchphrase which was amazing even if it was with only four people. After that it was home for animation domination and a late bed. Bringing us to the awfulness that was this morning, but for the most part this blog is a happy place so we won’t bring that up. At lunch or perhaps tomorrow I will fill in the fun-ness that was paintball.
