First and foremost, (which is actually pretty redundant) I’m excited to announce that I’m starting a new blog. Before you freak out as Joel did, it is not a continually updated blog. It essentially outlines my spiritual views, which amount to the bible on scientific steroids. If you want to read it there will probably be 5-7 posts total with a place at the top saying when it was last updated and what part. It will most likely include: Heaven, Hell, God, Death, and Creation. I will usually mention in this blog whenever the other one gets updated. So in short if you’re going to only read one blog, make it this one. And on to the post. Will everyone please rise for the presentation of our national colors . . . (Instrumental). Well that was fun. So Friday night I went to an art installation show. Each artist had a small 20’ shipping container to fill with whatever they wanted. I won’t bore you with an explanation of each and every one but they were mostly cynical (gotta be with art) and for the most part really good. We got to meet each of the artists and have them explain their piece. One in particular had “post secret” secrets projected on the walls of the container with voice recognition microphones that would put your secret in with them. There were also many more layers to it than that. They were all pretty cool. Then when I got home from that we went to the Howards’ and played catch phrase, which was sort of a win lose experiment. Saturday . . . what did we do Saturday? I think it was mostly cleaning the house and preparing for the cookout. We dropped by the fireworks store momentarily but everything was insanely expensive. We might have to make a Muncie trek to get good priced stuff. Sunday, Fun fun fun. There was basically the cookout all day. I think I’ve cemented my reputation as a pretty good grill cook. Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Grillers wall all amazing. I must say I was astounded at the food consumption though. I thought we had more than enough. Next time I will make sure to have more. I don’t think anyone went hungry but I don’t really know that. So yeah, Catch Phrase, Hookah, Conversation, and sky diving videos, over all I think it went really well. The next one is my birthday cookout on Sat the 26th arrive as early as you want but the scheduled start time is 2-3. Please make a note of it. So this post actually doesn’t stop there as you might expect. On Mon. night we went and hung out at the parents house, had a fire, made delicious hot Smoes, and briefly saw Alex, Annette, and Andrew. (Apparently they only let people whose name started with A come.) Welp that is all for now. Live long and prosper.
PS – So I got my tax refund, but it was from the first taxes. On the plus side at least they’re not lost and my identity at stake. On the negative side now I have to deal with letting the IRS know the second one is an amended return.
