Oh How I Love the Fourth of July.

So this weekend. Fireworks, fireworks, and more fireworks. We laid around and did a lot of nothing on Friday because we knew we were going to be running around the rest of the weekend. On Sat. We went to Muncie. We had a cookout with amazing grilled corn and good burgers, and then went to some rather pathetic fireworks (we were trying out a new place). Then on Sun we went for the best fireworks show in years, our complex. There were six individuals (me included) setting off personal displays that were pretty impressive in and of themselves but amounted to auxiliary shows to the main one which was AMAZING and completely unexpected. All they while they were blasting music across the lake (with a fantastic playlist I might add). We got to take turns going out on the kayak to watch the fireworks from the lake. And all of that was just a bonus to grilled food, amazing deserts, cornhole, and of course sparkler bombs. On Mon. I stayed home and did a lot of nothing, but Ty went to Brown County with mother and grandma and brought back fudge. So this post was insanely short considering a full three day weekend, but there you have it. Fun Times.
